Welcome to Year 2, where Miss Godfrey, Mrs Khansaheb, and Mr Hampson are so excited to guide your children through an incredible year of creative, fun, and independent learning! Together, we will dive into local history with Chorley Explorers, journey through royal history in Monarchs, and become eco-warriors as we learn to Save Our Oceans. To bring our topics to life, we have packed the year with hands-on enrichment, including a step back in time at Hoghton Tower, a visit from the Fire Service, and an underwater trip to Blackpool SEA LIFE. Throughout all of our adventures, our goal is to build your children's self-confidence and nurture them into proud, independent learners. We look forward to working alongside you to make this a wonderful, memorable year!
