Welcome to Year 5
Hello I’m Mrs Gillett and welcome to Year 5. I have been teaching at Highfield for a very long time! I have taught in years 1-6 but I really enjoy teaching in KS2. I am a busy mum to two children and most of my time is spent with them. In my free time, I enjoy reading a good thriller, spending time with my friends and love a musical.
In Sycamore class my fantastic teaching assistants are Mr Hampson in a morning and Mrs Critchley in an afternoon. We also have Miss Irish with us on a Tuesday and Wednesday. We are all very friendly and approachable. This year I am looking forward to trips out which will be to Houghton Tower and Tatton Park and maybe picking up a new talent of playing the keyboard!
